Looks MUCH better in reality.
It's fun to play around in Photoshop though, I did it to my Mustang a while back. I lowered it, put on Cobra wheels, tinted the windows, added exhaust... Looked damn good too, don't have the pictures anymore though.
Didn't actually "paint" the purple... I just changed the hue of the yellow... e.g. selected just the yellow of the car (altho now i've noticed i missed leaving out the brake light in the spoiler), then adjusted the hue just on that selection (depending on which program ya use there will be different ways to do this)...
And yeh turns out like that...
For the lights, just some carefull cutting & carefull pasting, then a couple tricks to get it to look more natural... When i just stuck em on there, ya could easily tell they were faked, they were too clean yet the rest of the pic had a grainly look... So just to the lights, i added some noise, then averaged, then sharpened... And wa-la...
Sure fooled me. I thought it was real! A 10 for the photochop, though I would give the car itself a 1 if it were real...I hate that style!
Though I always had a darker metallic purple picked out for my hot rod, and I would have rather put 4X4 on it than lower it (why cripple it's mobility when you can enhance it for just a little more)...but I crunched it, so there go those plans! ['71 Chevelle]
