No, we're not boaters, but we love the water (we have a time-share in the Outer Banks). This shot was taken in a little town called Pellestrina, about two km long and a stone's throw wide, that's on the sandbar that protects the lagoon in which Venice sits. (I really ought to post a map; Venice is a counterintuitive place.)
