My New Guitar

Finally home, this is my new Heritage 535 guitar (nestled in between a couple of it's newfound Hamer cousins). Heritage is a guitar company that is comprised of the old Gibson employees (25 years average experience)in Kalamazoo Michigan, working out of the old Gibson factory. This is quality stuff and that wood will knock your eyes out at 30 yards.:-)

BC, it's maple and the figuring or grain in it is commonly referred to as either curly or flamed. The whole body is that way

Sweet! Nice collection Tom! Still wish I would have kept my old Gibson Les Paul.

Oooh, baby! That is one sweet hunk of Tiger Maple! Tom's a happy boy!

Draboo recently gave me about six board feet of that kind of figured maple--it grows in challenging conditions, like Yooperland! Even unfinished, it is amazing!

I wonder if the Heritage group uses the old Gibson model #'s...like L-7?

I've heard of Heritage from someone, and they're quest to make rocking good guitars. Obviously they succeed.

I wonder if they could build me a copy of my Q-80?

Nice guitar TT, but you knew that.
