This is a new, in a long line of old works..

confused? I use to make calendar desktops for a web site a long time ago.. I am thinking about doing them again.. and this one would be the first.. the others might follow along the same line.. or may be different..

thanks.. =) been a while since I had done one of these.. and I was just playing around with an image.. I use to love this effect so much that I used it once in one of my web sites design.. which itself has been redone about 7 times since 97..

with which program do you work and how long did you learn to do so cool things?

the program is photoshop 6.. and I used anything from built in filters.. to layer effects.. to hand drawing..

I've been using photoshop since version4.. but I still don't know close to half of what it can do.. mostly thanks to me getting burned out at times doing free graphics.. and stopping from working in PS for a few months at a time.. its fun to do the work.. its why I do it.. but when u have 15 ppl who want graphics.. and inspiration isn't coming.. it gets frustrating.. and the fun fades..

so I try to take it slow now.. and not do so much as I use to..

I learned from talking with ppl.. and from fooling around in photoshop.. plus I have a few books.. which I haven't really cracked that much.. maybe read a few pages.. learn a few new tricks.. and then set it down..
