Is there a way to change category ownership? Chuck, I have personal member galleries set up on my site, and on the server it puts them into folders and subfolders by the user's member id number. So member 5135 would be \5\1\3\5 etc. Well one of my members has run off and set up a competing website and is trying to direct people to his site. In the past he was a main contributor and uploaded a lot of photos MANY of which were linked into articles in ReviewPost or in the forums. Now he is going and deleting them off the server. Is there some way to re-assign a personal gallery ownership to some other account? I don't really care if the physical directories change on the server or not, but other than banning this guy from the site I'm trying to figure out a way to prevent him from deleting the photos that still exist. Thanks in advance! |
I was thinking about going in with PHP admin and finding his name in some field for category owner and changing it to make sure I got them all. |
There is no way to change an album owner to my knowledge. I do believe/you as admin can delete the album but that is it. |
Chuck, in the admincp under edit categories, if you edit a category you can change the owner there. I did that for one of his categories, but I have over 1,000 categories and I don't want to miss any of them, hence thinking using php admin to go in and change the field with a search/replace might work better. Do you know what the field name is? |
No I do not offhand and not anywhere I can look at code this minute maybe isowner hard to remember database fields for four products It should not be hard to find if you look at the ppgal_categories table- |
