custom fields below image
 

For my site custom fields are an important part of my gallery.
In some cases it may be nice how it is now.
But I would prefer an option to move the custom fields (info) below the image (description) and in a bigger font same as it was on vbg 2.5.
For example if you have a car gallery with many custom fields the way it is now the information in the right sidebar isn't really eye catching.

Well there is a switch planned for 3.1, sidebar on/off
if the sidebar is off, you would be able to place the additional info, extra fields etc.., under image.
But that is for 3.1, for 3.0 there is no time adding this, as it requires a complete template rewrite.
