As vbulletin 4 is on its way and (as far as I could follow) it will have tablefree forums, it would be nice to have a tablefree layout for vbgallery also...
i have been doing some tests.. for the imagebit, but I am not sure if my solution.. is a good approach.
I created an example to test.. (still a bit buggy, but works in most browsers..)
I could NOT test
it on Mac browsers and on Linux.. So feedback would be appreciated...

The thumbs link to nowhere.. and all name cats are the same.. as its only a test html page..
there are two versions...
simple imagebit: just a simple thumbnail page extended imagebit: all blocks have border=1 in different colors for illustration...
the sticky is called "Showcase" and is a semi-transparent overlay..
But as I said.. its only a test... to see how buggy - stable it is...
If someone is allready working on something similar...
Feel free to use any snippets you want..
I will in any case try and implement it.. but as always.. what is missing is...

PS: As in my stats I have no more IE browsers lower than version 6 around(10%) ... there is no need i think to support browsers like IE 5.5 and netscape 4
