Gallery as a downloads manager?

Hello... I was wondering about this the other day. Since new vB has several image uploading features now, I was wondering if it is possible to use vbGallery as a downloads manager.

Is ti posssible to handle ZIP or PDF files and add a thumbnail to them with vbgallery?

No its not dead. You posted in the suggestions forum which people really dont respond to.

Now to your question there is no specific link one can click to download. vbgallery does handle multimedia files but the links are the same as photos you can show direct links to files etc but users would actually need to cut and paste.

Image galleries in general try to protect images as best they can from people so kinda the opposite of that general idea.
