Few suggestions...

Some of these I know your working on or I have told you over IM but figured Id post them here as well.

* Addition of "Views" for each gallery catagory. To see a total number of views for that specific catagory on the galleryhome.

* If the same user uploads a picture named 001 in Catagory A and then uploads a picture with the same name of 001 in Catagory B. When the user uploads the second picture it renames it in the image input field. Catagory B image that one has named in photoshop will then be renamed to 001_548763. But for sites that keep a 001-999 picture name you have to go in and manually delete the "_548763" that is added.

* Rounded thumbnails with a 1pixel border / dropshadow. I know you were messing with this idea.


I know I told you others but cant think of them right now.

when you delete a picture if you can be taken back to what would have been the next image instead of back to the catagories first page.

As it is now if I delete image number 247 from page 8, after I confirm the deletion I am taken back to page one.

some ideas to add.

work with polls, be able to post a poll with images. For example "Which is your favorite picture?" Then have pictures and with each picture being able to make a vote, also to work with vbacmps.

just thought of the other one i had talked to you about the different watermarkings. if the user has X permissions there will be one in the bottom right 100% viewable. If they have Y permissions then they have one 30% in the center or bottom right etc with a ghost effect. If Z permissions then no watermark.

adding the ones we just talked about.........

* add a subcatagory so users can upload 1 image to 2 or X different catagories.

* add usergroup permissions to upload X amount of images to go along with the user min max space size of an image. or umm.. something.. yea u know what i mean...

* vertical film strip

* poll so if you have a weekly contest users can vote on the images in that catagory instead of the default VBs 5 star ratings
