Difference in versions

I have been running VBGallery v1.0.1 (vB 3.5) for quite a while now. I looked on here tonight and saw the latest version for download is vBGallery v1.0.2. I looked around the site and could not find a description of what the changes are in the version other then Photo Post putting there name on the footer. Are there any other changes?

If Photo Post is going to continue supporting and selling this software I would also like to see a list of features for vBGallery listed somewhere on the site and maybe a list of changes down between version like most software companies do.

Wow now that this has been taken over by photo post I can see it also gets the same type of support that photo is known for giving.

There was not a lot of order in the forums moved from vBadvanced as to what issues that were added to the core files or not.

Here is a list of template that were changed.
http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122791

Almost all the php files. were edited. I'll take a look about a list.

What I did was take:
http://www.photopost.com/forum/bugs-vbulletin-3-5-x/

I went throught all the threads and post and tested "said" bugs. Anything that has a "lock" on the thread was added or was already in the build @ photopost to download. Sticky's are issues that need to be worked on. All other threads need to be added to the current build and is not in 1.0.2.

Soon I plan to add all the new fixes to the build and send it to the Devs.

Thanks for the information Zach. It seems you are the man running the show with VBG now. Am I assuming correctly?

If that is the case when can we expect to see a update to the software, is there anything coming anytime soon on this. I don't want to compare to what Brian was doing because that is a done discussion. But I know he was working on an update. I don't know if he passed that along to be worked on or not?

Here are a few suggestions.

How about a listing in alphabetical order by users that have uploaded photos to VBG like photo post has?

How about making this VBG a plug in?

I help in support and update core gallery files / templates if something is added or changed. I plan to update the builds sometime this weekend with the current bug fixes and send them over to Michael P.

The transfer from vbadvanced were:
- The bugs and mod forums
- Core Files.

There was no custom projects in the works or bug ticket system information sent.

I have started this.
- Templates done
- Phrases 60% done

**************

Something else I am playing with is "Recent Gallery Comments"
- CMPS Portal is done
- Working on galley "home" add-on.

Teaser screen shot its not "sexy" as of yet, but is operational.

Cool. I will look forward to these updates and hopefully soon. I have not updated since vBadvance seeing there was nothing drastic to worry about.

VBG already puts the Members galleries in alphabetical order. What I am referring to is being able to choose the alphabetical letter at the top to bring you to that letter listing. I have included an attachment from photo post to make sure you know what I am talking about. It would also be nice to be able to sort by the four option you have in photo post too. That is also included in the sample.

That would be incredibly beneficial.
