Multiple Installations of VB Gallery

Attention Photo Post Staff and Group,

I would like to run two Seperate installations of VB Gallery maybe three but at least two for now, but currently VB Gallery will only allow one installation on the same board from what I understand.

I would like to make the suggestion and request to have VB Gallery coded so that it will allow more than one installation of this program on the same installation of Vbulletin.

I hope you will consider taking on my request.

The PhotoPost Support Staff does not necessarily respond to suggestions in the suggestions forum since it is not a support forum. This is the place where the developers come to look for ideas once a beta cycle opens on the product.

You are correct though since vBgallery is essentially an addon to a vb install you can only install once copy per forum since its administration is done from the vbulletin admin section.

Chuck I mean no disrespect when I say this, but that "excuss" is absolute crap, This is a "Suggestions" forum and out of curteousy to your customers you should at least take the time respond with a simple reply to let them know that you at least seen/read their request. For all we know it may have gotten overlooked, which does happen.

Responding or replying has nothing to do with being a support forum or not, It's curteousy Chuck nothing more nothing less.

Yes Chuck I already know this, This is why I am asking you guys to consider looking into this and see about recoding this program to allow more than one install on the same board.

I am all for multi-installes.
hmmmm... May be a fun project. It may be a lot simpler task when the installer is an XML file.

Sorry you dont like my clarification on this subject but it is the response I have posted for years on these forums when someone tries bumping a suggestion. Here is a post by Michael that is three and a half years old that I am sure you are already familiar with on the PhotoPost suggestions forums as you have made numerous suggestions there in the past.

My response was pretty straight forward. Support staff can not give you an answer that your looking for here as they do not develop the product. I have placed a copy of this sticky post in this suggestion forum so there is no further confusion on this topic if the developer of the product does not have time to respond to what may or may not be included in the next release of the software.

If this suggestion does get coded and is ever released as a stable version, please do let us know about it if you would.

I will be the first one in line to try it out and start using it if it becomes available.
