| Updated my copyright. How do I get my extention? Quote: |
You will be able to download PhotoPost vBGallery 1.0.1 (vb 3.0 or vb 3.5) from our site, overwrite your .php files, and run a small script to change the powered by notice. Nothing in the files has changed other than the name of the software and the powered by notice. In exchange for doing this, we will add one year to your members area/download access for free. If you decide not to change the notice at this time, that's okay, but we ask that you do eventually change the notice within 90 days from now.
| Okay. So I re-uploaded the files and re-installed the phrases. Now, How do I get my year of extention of downloads.
Thanks |

How about if you also have the 'brand free' option - after we link accounts, are we still eligible for the 1 year extension? Also, what if our vBGallery is currently not in production? Is their someother information we can provide? Thanks.

Funk
Your gallery would need to be in production to get the extra year access I do beleive. It is an incentive to switch the copyright name right now. Every vBGallery customer will need to switch the copyright on there gallery after a specified period of time. I do beleive the president has stated everyone has 90 days to switch the copyright. I don't have a time frame on how long this offer is valid but the whole premise is to give customers something for switching copyrights now instead of later when it is required.
Thanks to the other gents I will pass along the license info to the person handling this matter.

If you own the branding-free, they should (my opinion) automatically give you a one year extension.

Well there is two questions here and deserve an answer.
1. If your gallery is NOT in production are you entitled to a free members extention. I would not think so since the whole incentive is to get people to switch now instead of in 90 days when they will be required to do so. If your gallery is not installed there would be no way for us to verify you have switched your copyrights. Anyone who's gallery is in production and we can verify that you have downloaded the new files and I can go see you have done so will get a free year member's access. I have already personally myself verified and passed along 4 license holders whom have done so and I know other support people have verified other license holders as well.
2. Brand Free customers get a years free member access. YES this has already been posted by Scott the owner of the company UPDATE:All brand free licenses have already had one year added to the members area expiration date. No need to ask us to do this. You can login to the members area (https://www.photopost.com/members/members.pl) to confirm your expiration date. |
