What is the purpose of the favorites system?

Simply to allow users to keep an album of their favorite images. It makes it a lot easier for a member to find those images later as well, especially on a large site.

Each Favorite = 1 Vote.
Meaning, the number of people that add it to their favorites for that day...

It resets every midnight and tallies up yesterdays votes.
Then it displays the top 4 favorites (like most recent pics or random pics) of the gallery index.

And that's it.

Also, some admins may have a slow forum and want the option to set favorites for the week or month.

I'm going to move this to the feedback and suggestions forum so I'll see it when it comes time to release a new version. I'm not making any promises that it'll be added as a feature, but I do like the idea.
