| Missing photopost feature?
One of the photopost features I couldn't find, is the category option to include or exlude a category from having it's laets thumbs included in the latest images line in the main page.

This isn't PhotoPost, and that's not currently an option.

Regardless, it's needed for a decent gallery software. Some galleries may not want to feature images from the off-topic categories, unrelated to the theme of the forum/gallery.
Just IMHO, and we've already added it.

Just IMHO, and we've already added it. | It is, however your first post and the title of this thread sounds a lot like your trying to say vBa Gallery is based off of Photopost. It's like you posting on the Paint Shop Pro website and telling them that they are missing a filter that is in Photoshop.
I do agree that it is a good request. I am currently running photopost and we have a Archived Photo category which we move photos that aren't appropriate for the board. Would archived images still appear to everyone in the latest photos, or just to the staff usergroups that have permission to see them?

It would only show to those that had permission to see them.

Anyway, I'll try not to mention them, or compare any feature to theirs, if that keeps the good folks here happy.

Just IMHO, and we've already added it. | Tamarian, I don't think there was intended sarcasm as much as a slight bristling at the assumption that just because a feature is in PP that it should/will be in Gallery. Nobody wants to see Gallery turn into a PP clone so a statement like "missing photopost feature" sounds less like a suggestion and more like a dig.
If you poke around the forums you'll see that Brian welcomes suggestions from the users and many of the features implemented are a direct result of those suggestions and other feedback.
