Clickable thumbnail link

With the new feature in RC3 with the easy copy/paste links it would be nice with an extra copy/paste IMG code, a clickable thumbnail code.

My site uses mostly 1024x768 pics and it doesnt look too good when using a fixed width for the forums.

A clickable thumbnail code would be nice.

Please post if you have a hack for it

Open your showimage.php file and look for:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Add below:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Then add something like this in your 'ADV_GALLERY_SHOWIMAGE' template:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Ahh, nevermind, figured it out, two {url} were missing.

In ADV_GALLERY_SHOWIMAGE template find:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Add below:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

(remember the showimage.php edit as brian posted above)

Looks like vB was parsing the [url] tag in that post. I just edited the post so that it's not parsing it anymore and shows the correct code now.

Hmm, how could i place something like "Click to enlarge" below the thumbnail ?

If i place the above BB code after the clickable thumbnail code it would be next to the pic instead of below.

Is it possible to make a custom BB code that makes a carriage return ?

Bleh, guess i should have search vB.com before asking :P

Though, i made a BB code like this...

Tag: br
Replacement: <br>

That didnt work, i had to have the text "Click to enlarge" in both the BB code and in SHOWIMAGE template for it to work, dunno why.

So the BB code looks like this:

Tag: br
Replacement: <br />Click to enlarge

And in SHOWIMAGE template:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

That worked, now the thumbnail has a small italized "Click to enlarge" underneath the thumb.

One other question though, the "Size=45", what does that do ?
Is it the width of the box ? i'd like the box wider.
