Limit/resize original image dimnsions

Is there a way to set the maximum height or width of the original image and resize it to fit this setting? If not, I would like to suggest this.

Of course! =)
It's a 2 step process.
Go to admincp -> vba Gallery -> edit filetypes -> set max width and height for each allowed file type
Still in vba Gallery, go to Modify Settings and set Save Originals to NO.

I think they would like to have a separate height/width to resize the kept originals to.

In other words, right now you can set the size of the thumbnail and the medium pictures. They would like to expand on that and also be able to set the size of the "original" image that is kept, instead of keeping it at full resolution.

Some people like to have the full size original though. Good for high quality prints, wallpapers, etc.

I agree, so it should definately be an option that can be disabled.

Re: Limit/resize original image dimnsions

Any news on this? I didn't see it listed in the options. I want to move to vba gallery when I upgrade to 3.5, but I really need this option.

Re: Limit/resize original image dimnsions

There is an option to limit the size of regular images, but currently there is not one to limit the size of originals.

Any chance of this being implemented?
