Is there any way (or planned) to have a picture in front of gallery name as preview of the content of that actual folder.

Like "Gallery" has.

.... is the quick & easy way method and is the way I've been doing mine. Just bear in mind, though, that it'll use the image's thumbnail.

The longer method is ACP --> vBa Gallery --> Edit Categories --> {select category} Edit Category --> Image. That would be good for when the image you want to use is not already uploaded to the category or if the image you want to show needs to be a different size then the thumbnails.
