That I know, just an .htaccess.
sitepoint.com and other webmaster/web developer communities out there have discussed this thoroughly and have very neat examples that you just need to copy to your .htaccess

.htaccess is probably the best way, and there will be an option in RC3 to create one for your files. | |

Since you brought that subject up , what's the status of RC3?
The "Topless Bar release" is making me feel like a kid in front of a candy shop window =)

So far only a few people have a copy of RC3 Pre, but only a couple of small mistakes have been found. ***Assuming no major problems are found*** then the public release should be towards the end of this week.

Darn...I was hoping for a fix which would support IIS as well. The .htaccess is no good there, I assume.
Wouldn't it have been better to implement an "image.php" template which can check for the calling template's domain?
I'd love to see something like that in vBa Gallery...on IIS right now all my images are basically free for all. I use a watermark to stamp new uploads but people still leech them.

Tormodg, I was under the impression you can still use .htaccess files with IIS.
Edit: Never mind. Not enough caffiene tonight. |

Exactly.
Sadly it does not work even though I am thinking VERY positive thoughts in the general direction of Microsoft (for a change).
