3 questions: Maintenance>Scan Database, etc.

When I scan the database, it finds 5869 problems. A bunch of "File not found" and "not in database." When I click on the image references in "File not found" the file isn't there, but when I click on the images in "not in database" they are all there. How do I fix this?

Also, the old gallery had a menu when you entered that showed immediate access to your images and folders and a button to immediately start uploading. This version has none of that. Now it seems you have to navigate through categories and find it yourself. I am attaching an image below after the text showing Mego Museum User Gallery.

Finally, how do I add VBGallery into the main forums navbar so people know it is back and working again? I thought I had read it did this automatically like the older versions did, but perhaps I'm wrong.

I just looked at your Demo at A community photo gallery - PhotoPost Photo Gallery and it shows the bar I was talking about: Home · My Photos · My Albums · My Favorites · Profile · no messages · Search · Upload Photos

Why isn't that showing up on mine?

One other thing - it tells me this:

You are currently running PhotoPost vBGallery v3.01.

The latest version available is 3.02.

There is a newer version of PhotoPost vBGallery available!

Please check PhotoPost.com for more info.

I downloaded and installed the newest version, shouldn't it be showing v3.02?

Our example site here is PhotoPost Pro not vbGallery so your not going to see a menu like our site here.

I would have to see on my test setup what I can replicate what type of file listing your seeing.

As far as your vbgallery it looks to me like your navigation system did not import. Do this go to your vbulletin product manager and select the link to add a product. Browse and find the product-ppvbgallery.xml it is located in your downloaded vbgallery source in the forums/admincp directory.

Select that xml and make sure to select allow overwrite and then reimport your product. I think your vbgallery menu will work right.

Actually, I think you meant product-ppvbgallery42. I imported that and it added it straight away! It also adds a top menu like I was talking about, just different from the old one but accomplishes the same purpose. Yay!

Two of my issues solved. But what about the database issue?

Like I said I would need to research that and see what I can find. I see no reason why it would find 5869 problems isn't that the number of photos you have.

I have a test setup up so I can see what I can find there and go from there.

Ah, thought you were talking about the menu when you said that.

Will be happy to give you login if you want to see it yourself. 5869 probably is the number of photos we have.

Thanks!!
