Merging 2 communities

I'm thinking about to merge 2 communities, i got no problems on vB site, but i don't really know, how to merge my 2 vB Gallery installations. Is this possible, is there any script to do this ?

I have never heard of any scripts to import Photopost vbGallery into Photopost vbGallery

Yes not your standard import. Most import scripting one would find for most products are scripts to import content from competitor applications into the application.

I am actually working on this and modified file patch structure and sql exports of images, comments by myself without a script. But after I imported the first community (fresh install of vbgallery, deleting of all ppgal tables and reimport not modified tables of the first community), I have the following problem:
Everthing seems to be ok, user assignment to comments and images, categories and so on, but my gallery does not display any image, because the url to images is doubleposted in the imagelink.
Should be:
http://merge.test.de/forum/gallery/f...0122_thumb.jpg
It is:
http://merge.test.de/merge.test.de/f...0122_thumb.jpg

Any hints for me how can I fix this? I already checked all patch in database and vbgallery_config.php, but everything is ok, no doublepost there. If I change the filepast (for example adding a 1), image path looks like this:
http://merge.test.de/merge1.test.de/forum/gallery/files/1/16112010122_thumb.jpg

All replacements just got the standard entrys, except the navbar field:
test_directory2/
test_file2.php
downloads.php
cmps_index.php
content.php

Hard for me to really comment I am not sure what you have done with what import script and what changes your doing. There is no vbgallery to vbgallery import.

I can say in vbGallery just like in Pro we simply take the data or files url and server paths you enter in admin and use those to build the links to images.

My best guess would be to check your database and the entries in question see if anything jumps out at you. If not there then you would need to check into any files edits you have done.
