Accidental Uninstallation: restoring database data then reinstall.

One of my site admins was trying to test a bug with the forum and in the process deleted the vBGallery. This is not a big problem since the site is only a few weeks old but I don't want to go through the trouble of doing a fresh install so this is what I thought:

1.) take the database backup from Sunday and import in the tables that were lost into the existing database - my question is what table names should I try and import? Anyone have a list?
2.) After I import I then reinstall the script and hopefully my data and settings will be restored?

If this is a stupid idea I was hoping someone here could suggest a better approach.

Thanks!
