Try disabling whatever hack that is that the function comes from. thats not a vbgallery or vbulletin function.

You need to disable whatever hack that is that causes that issue. As stated that is not a function in vbulletin or vbgallery so the issue is not being caused by our script.

I get this message
"Warning: copy(/home/.misk/zakrhino25/furry-muscle.org/gallery/data/500/commission_tony_holiday.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/.misk/zakrhino25/furry-muscle.org/galleries/import_photopost.php on line 242"
I don't understand what it means. The text data is there but not the images. Alright I see the images in the dir. but the images don't show up on the vbgallery, but I did run maintenance on it to see if that would work but no I get this issue message
"Warning: getimagesize(/home/zakrhino25/furry-muscle.org/galleries/data/3/1/0/welcome_to_the_powerful_horse_gym-med.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/admincp/vba_gallery_admin.php on line 1992
Rebuilding Image Info: 928 (welcome_to_the_powerful_horse_gym-med.jpg)"
So not really sure what the main problem is. The paths are correct to and from importing. The programs are on the same server just different folders and different databases.

Alright update the path for that images where outside the targeted data for VBGallery just move the folders so it works now. But I try to resize the images so that they will not be so big I get some errors like
"Warning: getimagesize(/home/zakrhino25/furry-muscle.org/galleries/data/1/5/3/user153_pic10_1229698620.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/admincp/vba_gallery_admin.php on line 1992
Rebuilding Image Info: 969 (user153_pic10_1229698620.jpg)

Resizing Image: 967 (user153_pic9_1229698620.jpg)"
and on Image ID about Resizing Image: 874 (captured-c-med.gif) it freezes and stops pages left 10 out of 88. Any way I can get this moving again so that it works?

Are your sure the paths are correct?

I mean why is the photopost image not there?

/home/.misk/zakrhino25/furry-muscle.org/gallery/data/500/commission_tony_holiday.jpg

What is your actual image name for that photo in photopost do you have a link?

Worked like a charm. I've been wanting to convert over to vBGallery for some time and today's email triggered my action. Need to do some tweaking and cleaning up, but this worked perfectly.

I am on photopost pro but is there any advantages to staying on photopost pro over vbgallery now?

also is this import script working good now?

import script should work fine.

The comparison is still the same to me its all a matter of choice.

PhotoPost PHP Photo Sharing Photo Gallery: Pro vs. vBGallery

vbgallery 2.5 only added a flash uploader which was never in this comparison above and the ability to import profile photos from vb into it. Pro will get this script as well so for me I still use pro and will continue to do so because of all the other features I get vbgallery does not have.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
i have double checked my paths, source and destination and both exist, any idea whats going on, or do u recommend to first update to 6.2 and then import to vbgallery?

This importer was not written for such an old photopost. You would need to upgrade your photopost to use this importer.

I have run this to do the import, but it does not seem to execute, just returns a blank screen. I have edited the file with the correct path details. Where can I look?

Have you filled out all the proper paths and placed the script in your photopost pro install folder?

Right but are you running the file from your photopost directory on the server?

You might want to check your server error logs to see if there is a more precise error.

The file itself is designed to be ran from your photopost PRO directory not vbgallery

Yes I have placed it in the photopost folder. Let me first check the logs and see from there, but it almost seems that the file is not running.
