Smartors Import Script - Page 2

phpbb does not have an includes/weblogs_common.php nor does smartors album
Been running phpbb for over 4+ years and don't recall ever seeing this file

I ended up manually editing a sql file and manually moving all the picture files to the respective member folders. Took alot of work and not as elegant a solution as Brians, but it worked.

The problem I am having, everything transferred over, but the image never resized...their all huge, no thumbs

edit: just need to do a recount...

If you go to the 'Maintenance' link in your admincp then you will see an option to rebuild your thumbnails.

I changed the directory for $phpbb_root_path to the root of phpbb and now it seems to point me to the /install/install.php file.

Not Found
The requested URL /install/install.php was not found on this server.

And if I put the file back it trys to reinstall the forum.

I'm having problems with this script.

First, I have all the folder correctly setup. and I uploaded the script to gallery folder (tried also from the root without sucess)

The first error that appeared was "VB_AREA or THIS_SCRIPT" not defined. To solve this (dis I solve?), I simply added

Content visible to verified customers only.

Now, the problem happens when it gets to the following statement:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/scrapboo/public_html/galeria/import_smartors.php

Itcannot find the object "$DB_site".
How to solve this problem?

This script was designed for vB 3.0. At this time there is not an importer for vB 3.5.

Hi Brian,

I thought it was for vB 3.5 as well... my bad.

Well, just wanted to let you know that I managed to run it somehow with vB3.5, and I just had to do a few changes (so far). I would like to share them here.

1. I removed all "echo" commands (and flush/ob_flush calls) before the statement (around line 280):

Reason: init.php sets some cookies, and I didn't bother to change page buffering...

2. Then, I "replaced":

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

with:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

It worked for me...

but not completely yet.

My problem now is that Smartor Album works with phpBB... I have imported phpBB to VB3.5 with Impex, and userids are different (from phpBB and vB). I mean, phpBB user #10 may be vb user #20. I still need to make this script to use impex user ids to properly "convert" the ids. Will check impex tables and see what I can do.

Anyway, hope this may be helpful for someone.

Has anybody else tried the above import script? I have a smartor album on phpbb that I need transfered over. Waiting until I'm relatively sure it'll import somewhat ok before I purchase. Thanks! I have the newest version of vB (3.5.3) btw.

This script referrences VBAdvanced.

I just purchased PhotoPost PHP Pro...I didnt even see any VBAdvanced options.

Will this script work with PHP Pro?

I will work on install this weekend of phpbb and smartor-gallery. Look @ the importer made and look about an updated tool you can test out.
