Coppermine Import 2 Attachment(s) ******ADMIN NOTES!!!! - Post 10 Sep 2006 This thread is an old imported thread from the former VB Advanced Gallery which as you now know as PP VBgallery. If you chose to use these scripts you do so with out any warranty from this site. Please try them at your own risk. ******End This script will import the images from your current Coppermine installation and convert them for use with vBadvanced Gallery. How to use this script: 1). Back up your images and Coppermine database. 2). Download the file below and open it with a text editor. You will see a place where it is necessary to set the path to three different places (your Coppermine installation, your forums, and your vBa Gallery files directory). Change the paths accordingly. 3). Upload the file to your root directory, go to the file in your browser, and follow the instructions there. 4). Remove the file from your server once it has finished. 5). Enjoy vBadvanced Gallery. Please note that at this time these import scripts have only been tested on a few installations. If you experience any problems please post here and we will be happy to help and make sure you get your files imported properly. |
Re: Coppermine Import some of the images are missing when i import them, i have 340 images and only 52 is imported, any clue why it happend? |
Re: Coppermine Import Strange... I assume they were all working ok in Coppermine, right? If you'd just like to submit a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look and see what the problem is. |
Re: Coppermine Import sure, thank you :) |
Re: Coppermine Import I have the same problem. All images work in Coppermine. Not all images are importing. I have only tried the import 1 time. Will play with it more layer today. |
Re: Coppermine Import I've just updated the import script. Please try the new one and let me know if you still have any problems. |
Re: Coppermine Import The new script works great. Some very minor clean up was needed. Nothing that the average person shouldn't be satisfied with. Make sure you update you site info uder "modify Settings" before doing the import. All n all, I feel a need to thank you for suppling a fully integrated system for an image gallery's at a super affordable price. |
Re: Coppermine Import Is it possible to watermark during the import from coppermine? |
Re: Coppermine Import Currently, no. |
Re: Coppermine Import I got all of the descriptions and filenames imported but not a single picture. |
Re: Coppermine Import What did you set for your $galleryfilespath option? |
Re: Coppermine Import Hi Brian. My coppermine is on a different url. So no path but url instead. Tried and it doesn't work. Ideas? Thanks. Giray |
Re: Coppermine Import Fixed part of the problem. Different url but same server. So I just changed the path. But now I got all the categories but no images. I'll also try a different path and will revert. |
Re: Coppermine Import Imported and fixed. Looking at other stuff now. Thanks. |
Re: Coppermine Import hmmmmm i dont see this..i have old back up for coppermine i was use it when i was in the IPB but now i have Convert to VB but let m try this one. |
Re: Coppermine Import Mine doesn't work at all because I was running the port version for phpnuke, so nothing seems to import. :( |
Re: Coppermine Import i tried to import 113 pages of images (about 1 1/2 hours!), but when i tried to import comments, i got this: ( /import_coppermine.php?do=replies ) Quote:
