Adding a link to User Gallery on User CP Menu

Hi,

I'm in the USERCP_SHELL template and am trying to add a link to the user's gallery. I'm not an expert in PHP, but I do know programming fairly well and this seems like it would be a fairly easy task if I just knew PHP and the vBulletin structure a bit more.

Basically (pseudo):

If - User has Gallery in Member's Category
Then - Display link to that user's gallery

Can anyone help me out with the code for this?

This is crude but will do what your looking for I think.
- If there are uploads by the user "My Images" link appears.

This is a plugin.
- before install edit the file and place your gallery URL.

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

The link will shoot the user to a page where all of their images and categories will be shown.

If you have a Category setup as a "Member's Category" where all images uploaded is placed in their username.

Is the category ID of the "Member's Category".

Im lost... can someone detial out how I can install this in my forums. I have never installed a plugin, only products.

AdminCP => Plugins & Products => Download / Upload Plugins
- Import Plugin Definitions XML File (At very bottom)

It will add the plugin to your vBGallery Product.

Huh.. I have uploaded this plugin but nothing yet. Is there anything I need to add to the postbit_legacy template?

This makes a link in the Navbar of the USERCP

hmm... It's probably my lack of PHP skills, but I tried to edit USERCP_SHELL with the added code highlighted in red:

And then I uploaded the XML file via AdminCP => Plugins & Products => Download / Upload Plugins, but nothing happened. I checked out the source on the UserCP page and this is what it shows for the code that I added:
