strange issue

For some odd reason, no images are showing up after upgrading my skin to 3.6.8 version. This is the case is the header/navbar / footer sections.

They show the alt text instead of the images.

If you have not changed the URL's or location of anything.
- Update your cache for the gallery settings.

vBGallery => Modify Settings
- scroll to the bottem
-- [save]

This should take care of it.

I had already done that, still does not show images in navbar, header, footer

You need to edit the style and change the Image Paths in the new imported style and use full URL's on all links that point to images.

EX:

Change:
/images/element/statusicon

it will be

http://www.talkjesus.com/images/element/statusicon

Are you sure? Why all of a sudden? I never did that before.

I cannot find /images/element/statusicon when I did a search in template.

Admincp => Styles & Templates => Style Manager
- StyleVars - Image Paths

Hello,
In your style(s) edit the "Image Paths" and fill in your full forums URL.

There will be a few places.

EX:
Title Image:
Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.
to

Code:

also: Main CSS

Backgrounds in the CSS can have images vs. colors.

http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/s...ager_css_bg_fg

Example values:

* #FF0000
* rgb(255,0,0)
* red
* red url(/forums/images/background.gif) repeat-x top left
