Pdf Support?

Does the latest version 2.1 of VB Gallery have Pdf support?

I have a previous version, and wanted to know if this has been added?

I went ahead and added the custom file type of pdf... However, it keeps timing out when I try to upload a pdf file (400k big)... Is there a setting on my server for a size of an upload like this? When I tried a 3k *.pdf uploaded just fine...

Any ideas? Is all I do just have to define custom field? or do I also have to create the pdf std. icon also????

Any suggestions?

I have uploaded 50 meg PDF's to servers, but the php upload limit was at 100M on the server. No timeout issues.

Yes you need to add an image icon to the webserver.
Upload To: gallery/images/file_pdf.gif

Add Filetype:
AdminCP => vBGallery => Edit Filetypes
- Add Filetype (button)

Extension: pdf
Maximum Filesize: 2000000
Enabled: [ x ] yes

Note:
Maximum Filesize: 2000000 (2 megs)

Thanks, I tried again using your settings above, but still timing out on a 400k *.pdf file...

I am on a dedicated server (via WHM/Cpanel) - where would I set the PHP upload limit?

I also tried modifying the .htaccess file in your public_html folder, and added this line.

php_value upload_max_filesize 10M

Thanks for any additional advice...

I just had my webhost up the upload limit to 15MB, and connection timeout to 300 seconds...

Still having the issue,,, Any other ideas to try? Are there any settings in MySQL that I have to also change?
