animated gif thumbs too big?

our gallery thumbs are set to 100 pixels high. when users upload animated gifs though, they upload and show properly, but the thumbs are full size instead of being resized to 100 pixels. (which of course throws off the rows and columns in the gallery). did i miss a setting? what can i do to fix it?
thanks!

Yeah user long time ago same thing about animated gifs I think it has something to do with the multi layer images the processor does not like
