| My Flash Uploader doesn't work at all
Hi-
I recently updated my very old installations with a full clean install of vBulletin and vbGallery, and I'm trying to use the new flash uploader feature. I've enabled the Flash Upload feature in vbGallery Admincp, I've checked category AND usergroup permissions, tried both 1 and multiple numbers of uploads at a time in settings, but when the flash upload feature is enabled, the upload button is gone. This is what I see: Picture 1.png
I'm sure I've missed something boneheaded... Please help!
Thanks
Sy

Yes I would suggest you make sure you reinstall the plugins from the install script to make sure you have everything

I did that already, but it didn't help.
I just looked at the Plug In manager, and there is nothing there with Flash Upload or anything like it. I have the following related files in my clientscripts folder, but no related XML plugins anywhere:
swfupload.swf
swfobject. js
swfupload. js
swfupload.queue. js
fileprogress. js
flashuploader.css
flashdetect. js |

Are you sure you have uploaded our files not theirs? You would upload all the vbgallery download to your server run the upgrade and then reimport the product.
You can place a url and test login here so we can see what we see.
I have a test copy installed here and it appears to work fine for me Reeftalk vBGallery

I didn't upload any of their files, but it's possible that another product did? I'm using Links & Downloads Managers, Passive Video and vBadvanced. I'll try disabling all of those to see if it will help.
I tried the upload on Reef Talk, and it works correctly for me there.

whats missing on your site is the select files button
I cant say why. You can send us ftp info and admin login through the contact us link in the header.

I will pass it on to that developer to look at. There is actually no reason it does not work other than maybe a flash issue on your server or some conflict.

Thanks. Please ask them to email me when they need access to FTP again, as I need to change the password back (I can only have one main FTP account).

I just tried to login to your forum to take a quick look; I'm afraid I dont have alot of info on the flash uploader, but if you PM me your user login (not your FTP, just so I can bring up the upload page), I'll take a look/.

Ignore my prior post. I just noticed that you sent me a PM three weeks ago that had suggestions in it to help figure it out. D'oh! It just took me all of 3 minutes to find out that I've got some conflicting javascript in my header code that's causing the problem. Thanks for the help, guys, I really appreciate it.
