Menu Pop-up question

Hello, i have a question about the vBGallery pop up menu. It doesn't seem to pop-up correctly like the menu in vBulletin were it shows under the link. The menu in vBGallery shows up far more to the right or the left.

Any ideas why?

Yes, it does that on some big screen resolutions.. I am using 1920x1200 and have that issue when i'm in full screen mode.. (strange enough not on all pages)

I fixed it.. in the template here..
[Fixed] template adv_gallery_navbar

but moving the menue to the <a tag.. makes the little arrow also underlined.
You dont see it in the navbar because it has a global css text-decoration:none for the navbar..
You cant use that tag because the font color is white..
You would have to add the tiny extra css in your style manager as described there...

That's what i have 1900 x 1200 resolution. Does the fix going to be available in 2.5 or this is just a custom fix that users with 1900 x 1200 need to apply themselves?

Thanks

Actually its has nothing to do with the exact 1900 x 1200 resolution... the menu moving out of the exact placement does happen, it happens to me on my resolution, but strange enough it does not happen on my laptop...

AND it may not fix your display problems.. (as no one except myself has tested it yet.)

Maybe michael is going to test it... and include (maybe only parts of it) in 2.5
I dont know.. for the moment its just custom...

Luc

Just checked your site...
It only does it if i go full screen..

well the issue has everything to do with screen resolution that I see.

I just added popup menu's in Reviewpost and from what I see as far as the JAVA it is limited to its container meaning td tag

Thats how it works.

So in a larger screen where the td's are larger you will see the menu appear at the beginning of the td.

Correct...
Thats why I put the menu in the a tag (or span tag) .. as it displays inline.. the menu is always under the text.. (thats how its done in vb navbar)

the menu should definitely be under the text. I know it's a small detail, but, hey, the goal is to make 2.5 even better then what it already is... right?

Hope to see this tweak make it into 2.5.

Thanks
