| Black Thumbnails
Using Vbulletin 3.81 & VB Gallery 2.5
I'm getting black thumbnails on the Gallery page and filmstrip images are showing a red x. Was working ok until today.
If I click on the red x nothing happens. When I click on the black thumbnail the image appears no problem.
Tried the database image repair tool and still doesn't work.
Please assist.

See below. Let me add, my host just migrated to new servers. Might the wrong path to ImageMagick cause this problem? Supposedly, I have the correct path - according to my host. I can upload images just fine - the thumbnails are not showing as seen below.
Thanks. Please assist.

Can you either post a test login or open viewing of photos up to guests
I would suggest if you migrated to a new server that you verify in your vbgallery admin options your files and user directory server paths are correct and permissions are 777 on those directories.

well hard to say.. as chuck says.. because
1.st you have a html error in your template.. either imagebit or the one for newest or random images.. this comes probably from code.. as the amount of cells in the table is not being reflected in the table head.. you see it when you open and collapase the newest and random images ... the header bar is not full width..
2. as you have the overlay-hack it is difficult to see the real image path..
An account would help.. but dont post it here in public.. mail it to chuck via the contact us link above..

Just checked your source code.. and there is a possibility:
Please check your paths... the thumbnails are called from a directory called:
.../upload
but between .../upload and thumbnail there are 2 slashes..
ie: .../upload//thumbname.jpg There should only be ONE slash...
check the settings.. in your acp.
for http it is not a major problem.. as most browsers fix that.. but in php.. it will give you a "image not found" and could mean that the thumbnail is NOT processed..
you have 2 settings path AND url.. both should not have a trailing slash!!!
Luc
PS: Once you changed the settings.. they will only take effect when you upload a new image.. (so you will have to regenerate the thumbnails in your maintenance section of your acp for the 2 missing existing thumbnails)

Thanks guys - your help and patience is appreciated. Turns out, when the server was changed, Imagemagick wasn't installed/installed properly. Iwas given a correct path to Imagemagick - problem is, it isn't registering as installed for my site for some reason.
Anyway...I switched to GD2 until they resolve the Imagemagick issue. Works fine now.
Thanks.
