Question Differential watermarking

What I would like to do is to offer free accounts to some members and also fee accounts to other members.

For the free accounts one trade-off will be their photos will be branded with a watermark as an advertisement whereever they post it.

For the fee aacounts I would like to have the option of no watermarking.

Is this possible?

Thanks

You can of course setup different permissions for different usergroups but not with regards to watermarking:

It's actually quite easy to hack this in if you're using on the fly watermarking. A few if statements in showphoto.php can work wonders I've got different watermarks for different usergroups, no watermark for some groups, different again copyrigth watermarks for individual users. All hard coded though.

This is quite an old thread.

Watermarking is settable by usergroup in the category permissions.

As far as images not showing doing on the fly watermarks you can ask a question in the support forums. I would suspect you have not filled out the options in watermark.php with the server path to the image directory and watermark file.
