I've been using version 6.23 for a very long time.... I know, time for an upgrade. But this really baffles me. Out of the blue today users starting getting the following when trying to upload a picture.
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/msports/public_html/photopost/forums/vb3.php on line 32
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/msports/public_html/photopost/pp-inc.php on line 3286
The upload process seems to go smoothing through the preview and even the upload until the picture seems to be done uploading and the error message pops up.
the errors your noting seem to indicate either your vb database info is not correct in the config-inc.php file or maybe you changed your mysql table prefix for vb and did not update photopost with that fact. I mean based on the error that would seem to be a global problem not just uploading.
For some reason it no longer remembers me when I log into the front end of photopost. In fact I shouldn't have to login as it should take my login from VB and use it. In fact, this seems to be the root of all evil. If on the preview page, I enter my username and password there, the photo does upload successfully and it does keep me logged in.
Then this confirms what I am saying here if you note the error!!
Your not logged in or even recognised but doing number 2 in my second post above would find what is failing on the query. I would suspect your table prefix for your vb tables is wrong would be my first guess.
Something has changed and your issue is number 5 on the common issues with vb FAQ.
Your database info or table prefix for your forum is incorrect. I do not see any other possible answer to give you here. I have responded 3 times now and the answer in every post although I may have worded things differently to try and get you to understand all comes down to the same thing here. Your database info for the forum in your photopost config is wrong or the forum table prefix stored in entry 83 in your pp_settings table is wrong in the database.
Either one of those if nothing has changed on the gallery side points to you have changed something on the forum side.
No is your debug setting in admin set to display errors. You can run this query in phpmyadmin to set it.

You can also check your config-inc.php to make sure it has the correct database info and check the pp_settings table as suggested and make sure the database table prefix for your forum is correct in setting 83.
You must correct the issue in your configuration for the error to go away. I can not stress that enough here. If you verify that the information is correct you should be fine. Your one site says closed for upgrade so I assume that is the site. Since things are closed I can not offer an advise since all I see is a closed message.
