We just did an upgrade of our site from VB3 to VB4 so we installed the newest version of VBGallery (3.02) on the site. (Previously I think we were running 2.5 on vb 3.8.4). After the install the gallery works fine other than a few glitches I found fixes for here, but one I cannot seem to make work is that the Navigation tab/menu doesn't appear. (I tried creating one manually but it lacks all the sub links, etc.).
When we installed ReviewPost (also upgrading from older version) the navigation menu/tab appears just fine.
Ken make sure your vbulletin navbar template for one is not edited in any manner for one and next go to the vb products menu in there admin and select to install a new product xml. Browse your computer go to where you had vbgallery and upload the product_vbgallery42.xml file
You should have a menu appear. You can check under your vb navigation manager to make sure a vbgallery tab exists.
That is updated in our build our downloable 3.02 has the vboptions change and and the bbuserid array as well those have been changed for along time since 4.2.2 was released.
Then someone forgot to put that file in the Members Area for download because I downloaded that newest file in the Members area on Jan 31, 2014 and that's what I installed and the links in the Nav menu when I imported the XML file were wrong, they said "options" instead of "vboptions".
you might want to go check that file available for download again in the members area...
Also the link for My Images doesn't append the userid number, do you have the syntax for that link for the nav menu item?
Interesting I just checked and your right so I updated it
The variable for userid I posted in my prior post userinfo is bbuserinfo.
Chuck, remember I'm always right!
Thanks for updating, btw, when I imported the XML file yesterday it still said version 3.01 instead of 3.02, I suppose if there aren't any other changes my site needs then no big deal about the version...
