integrating a forum in photopost

Hi,
I would like to integrate a forum in my website which is based on photopost 7.1. Presently I'm using the simple photopost dashboard.
I'm looking for a forum that can integrate the actual users of the web site without force them to register again also to the forum.

Does photopost support this mechanism? perhaps using vBulletin or SMF or phpbb??

thanks

Integration comes form the fact that we check the forum and integrate the users from the forum meaning users do not come from photopost. Registration takes place in the forum not PhotoPost.

Therefore if you want to add a forum you would need to create some type of custom script on your part to move the users from PhotoPost to whatever forum you want to use and then you can reinstall PhotoPost to integrate with that product correctly.

vBulletin last time I checked has an option on there impex importer script to import users from PhotoPost to vbulletin forum.

Here is the link of what you will need to do after you install the new forum and use the vb impex to import the photopost users into your new forum.

hi chuck, thank you for your usefull answer! I decided to use Simple Machine Forum v2, so I have re-installed from the beginning my photopost and I have selected to integrate the smf forum during the installation.

I'm following the steps you sggested but at point 4 of the guide the link to the script is broken, can you check this link please?
