I am sooo lost right now. I am trying to get the same colors as my old gallery look and the new code for the CSS is confusing the heck out of me.
Here is the code of the old CSS I was using I am trying to get the colors the same as the used to be.
Content visible to verified customers only.
Here is a archived link to how the site looked. I am not concerned about having the old search since the side bar search box works just fine and its not using the back ground image I was using but I want to get close to the old color scheme i had before. http://web.archive.org/web/201206012...lery/index.php
I also need the search box and custom pal 3 to match. I also still cant get the custom pal 3 to span when shrinking the browser window like is does if you look at the archived site it spans when shrinking the browser window.
Please I am begging for any kinda assistance. This is the last thing I need to get done.

But like I said thats not a big deal. What I need to have happen is the Category Titles / Names for example on My site there is STOCK SALE New Products Sports 1-000 etc..
The font size on all of these are really small and I would like to make it bigger. Compared to all the other font these are very small. Some how I got the photo count for each categories font bigger but I cant seam to find how to get the category names bigger. I did Ctrl F and searched font and went through the CSS and put the pt size bigger on everything but it didnt seam to change the category names font size.
Also Under Category there is Trevor James the main parent Category and there is a ton of spacing between the word Trevor James and the Sub cat NEW PRODUCTS is there a way to lessen that amount of space?
As well as the photo title is HUGE compared to the rest of the photo description text and there is a ton of spacing between the photo the photo title and description text. Is there a way to lessen that spacing so the title is under the photo being displayed?
Also when looking at a category in thumbnail mode it shows the posters name like this
...............admin (with out the ...'s I put them in to shows the spacing. I tried to just use space bar but it work)
This post and the last one before this are the last of the issues I need to fix.

Take note your category name size on the old category you need to actually look at the template categories-forum template and you can see what styles your dealing with. As always that category name on the display is surrounded by a span with class small so the css class small can be altered in the style or you can simply remove the span element all by itself but the span small has always been apart of that template.
The small style class is readily defined in the stylesheet as 10pt
Okay I understand now. The span class was calling on the .small font-size. I upped the .small size and everything looks way better. Thanks for that. Just that one change helped with some text spacing issues.
The only issue I have left and 1 question are
I can not no matter what I try get the custom_pal3 to span or get the text in it to collapse or expand with resizing of browser window. Its diving me up the wall. I want the text to move down / lengthen out and the box to get smaller / bigger when resizing the browser window. I put in this
Content visible to verified customers only.
Now calling on span class small helped bring the box size down but I have to insert <br> at points other wise the say Trevor James Web Order Form and Sizing Info with be one long sentence and take up even more room and make the box bigger. The reason why I need this fixed sooo badly is we deal with a lot of older clients. Now I doubt they have a wide screen monitor. When you have the browser window small and you go into a category the thumbnails of the photos are bigger then the window size and I get the bottom scroll bar. I can not have this happen. Most people never notice a bottom scroll bar and this will make it so some photos will be either half visible or missing on the page depending on the browser size.
Now last question is on my site under Category there is STOCK SALE then the parent cat Trevor James. Is there a way to reduce the Size of the box Trevor James is in? There is just a lot of space between the Trevor James and the bottom of the Box where it starts the sub cats.

Off the top of my head not something I have every tried to do or any quick thing I could tell you as we do not offer personal style designs as a part of product support.
The styles are what they are I have never played with them. I would suggest as far as sizing or spacing you check out the relevant class names for the places your looking and look at font sizes padding and margin css statements.
Okay I will do that. Its just odd that the search box will span correctly calendar Statistics PAL everything but any of the custom Pals as soon are you put text in it. It will not resize its self like it used to in 5.4 and it doesnt matter how big or small i set the side bar width to. The custom Pals are forcing the side bar to conform to the info contained in the box.
like I linked before if you look at our old cashed version of our site the custom pal 3 I was using is able to span. Its how it was when our site was live as well. I dont know what changed along the way but for some reason now it will not work.
The custom pals are handled the same was as any other template.
Your old links do no good here because you can not compare very old html and css1 to html5 and css3.
Span I do not think is the proper terminology I think you mean that our words are not breaking. You can try setting the width of the leftcol css class to a fixed width see if that helps but yours is set to 15% and for whatever reason on your site the words are not breaking. word wrap I think is what we are talking about.
