Need Help - Database error in AdminCP -- 3.8.7 w/ 2.52
Error in vB 3.8.7 with PP 2.52
Did have a copy/paste of the error here and then tried to post a screencap of the error, only to receive a "you need 15 posts" to post links in the support forums?! Wow.
Anyway - This error occurs only in the AdminCP only when I re-enable the plugin via the AdminCP. I am unable to login to the AdminCP because of the error. I also notice all users are logged out via the front end.
I need help getting this re-installed correctly. The original site had been hacked. So we're restoring from a database backup. Everything seems to work correctly but Photopost.
Also - as an FYI - photopost (vBGallery) was installed in the root directory, where as the main forum is installed forum directory.
I need immediate assistance with this please and how truly odd! I can't post a link to the affected site - I cannot post a screencap of the error because I receive your truly odd error:
You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 15 posts or more.
How odd for a license holder to be so restricted in the Photopost support forums!
At anyrate - Help please!

Yeah I asked you some more info I need to go get older code and setup a test site to see if I can replicate your dealing with a product line that was declared dead from vb 5 years ago with them only releasing security updates and we have not released any released for vb3 in at mininum 5 years so this will take some time to investigate.
My personal suggestion thought overall since the vbGallery line is essentially a dead product line since the release of vBulletin 5 is that you install PhotoPost Pro and use the import scripts here on our forum to import your vbgallery content to Pro and use that product line which has been extensively updated and developed over the years.
Hey Chuck does PhotoPost Pro integrate at all with vBulletin? Also- I tried uninstalling, removing all PP database tables, then reinstalling from fresh with an import of the PP tables. And still receive the same error. So no dice on my end.
I hope you have been able to duplicate (and fix hopefully...) the error on your testboard install. Truly need help with this and certainly would hope that PhotoPost support would actually be able to offer a fix, since vBGallery for vB 3 is still being sold.
Anyway - Much appreciation for your help. Can you give me an update as far as your vB 3 test install is going?
Okay thanks for your responses Chuck. I was going to ask which script version you have installed here at PhotoPost.com --- And it is the PhotoPost PHP Pro v8.42 version - integrated with vB 3 then?
I just want to clarify: You think I'll have a greater success installing the PhotoPost PHP Pro and integrating it using your integration scripts? At the end of the install - PhotoPost PHP Pro should be well integrated into the vBulletin script?
Chuck - how can I delete the line you added in config.php
Content visible to verified customers only.
... and have the AdminCP operational?
Please tell me there is a way. Because as of yet - this issue is unsolved. I would like to try the photopost pro install/integration - but how am I able to do so with an inoperable AdminCP?!
Commenting the line out is about the extent of my php coding experience. I know how to comment the line out.
The problem is - when the line is commented out and/or removed ==> Back to the original AdminCP database error - the same error I was hoping you'd be able to assist with getting fixed!
Nevermind - I managed to disable vBGallery with all plugins disabled via the config.php file. This is just frustrating though - I was hoping to get better assistance. But as it is - I've gotten nothing but the option to install PP Pro ((sigh...))
I am not able to replicate any error here though so as I already stated above when I showed you this example. The issue has to be in whatever happened to your site that you where telling me not code related there. There is no way to help you with your data though if its corrupt and causing issues I would not know how to help you.
I've created a testboard.
I've installed PhotoPost Pro most recent version.
I've tried running the import script and only see
Importing 1 Photos .... Please wait
Only Importing 1 [Everything] .... Please wait
So nothing is importing. I've tried a myriad of settings. I just don't know. This has to be the most frustrating project I've ever been tasked with since starting web/graphic freelance back in 2006. I'm not a coder - so my options are limited. This is why I naturally assumed a PhotoPost coder would be able to assist.
Can I send you login details and see if you have better luck importing the vBGallery data? Because right now - My only recourse seems to be to tell my client that she has purchased a script that simply isn't going to work. She'd just renewed her license a couple days ago... Sad shituation.
Anyway - Please let me know if you can attempt the data migration from vBGallery to PhotoPost Pro.
