I can appreciate you want your hack to work. However just like Internet Brands the company that releases vBulletin we do not support hacks or mods. We guarantee our application to work fine with the default vb forum product. It does just that. Some hacks may work fine others may not depending on how they are written and called.
Our application pulls the vb header navbar and footer. I run the vb banner thing and that works fine but then that is part of the default product.

You can see clearly we can show the I guess the hook location below navbar just like any plugin locations in header footer etc.
You can pass along the information I am providing to that hack author and it would be up to him to make his hack work. You can give him access to your site so he can work with things if he is willing. However we do not assist with diagnosing and making peoples hacks work with our application. We do support any code we do not directly write.
The only suggestion I have is maybe make sure any plugin would be globally hooked that it is generated in the header or navbar or footer. If it is made to hook anywhere else it simply will not be used on our application.
