I've used other photo gallery software before, where it had the functionality that it would have "new" .gif image next to the category name if that category has updated images in it. The administrator can setup how many days is considered new.
How do I do this for PhotoPost? My site is very buisy so photos get uploaded to multiple different categories. Usually visitors want to see updated photos, so what they do is, go to lates photos and look at those or click on the calendar and look at photos for that day. Sometimes new photos get uploaded to 2-3 different categories by different admins at the same time. So when users look threw the lates photos, the photos are not organized by lates photos from each category but buy latest photo from any category. So visitors see couple of photos from one category then some from another and then some from the third category. Then they see the photos from the first category and so on. As you can imagine it gets cofusing and anoying.
So I would like to show "NEW" label or image next to each category/subcategories where new photos were uploaded in last 7 days or so. That way user can just click on the category that has a "NEW" label and then follow the subcategory that also have the "NEW" label and keep following the subcategories till the user gets to the new photos.
How do I enable this feature?
