Showphoto preview thumbnails strip

Is there any way of restricting this to images from the gallery that the shown (main) image belongs to? Even better, the gallery of the picture's owner.

Not really without going first into the category or viewing a users gallery.

OK. It's worth noting that ever since we started using PhotoPost, users have found this confusing. The expectation is that the thumbnails show images from the same user's gallery that the main picture belongs to. I constantly get people asking me why other peoples' images are shown.

It depends on how you are viewing images - if you started viewing the image from a category, then you see category images in the strip (so you can scroll through the category images). If you started from the members gallery you would see their gallery photos.
