and will not allow users to nagivate with the Navigation menu within the template. I am using vBulletin 3.6 and the latest and greatest photopost vbgallery.
Will the above method resolve my issue? Also, what should I added to fix this? I don't really understand the above instructions.

Here you may enter a list of filenames that may appear in your header that should be prefixed with your Forum's URL.

Lets say you add a Blog system and it adds a link.
/forums/blog.php - <a href="blog.php">Blog</a>
In the "Navbar Replacements" you would add the php file: blog.php to the list of file names. This will add the forums URL in front of the link while looking at the gallery.
In some custom skins they move the standard Navagation to the "header" template. In this case you would add to the "Header Replacements".
