PhotoPost Upgade from older Version

I have a friend that has a forum and hasnt taken care of it for a while now.
She is using Vbb 2.3.4 and PhotoPost Version 4.8.2

What complications will I run into if I upgrade her Photopost from 4.8.2 to 6.0
We want to save her pictures in the gallery if possible.

Will the upgrade.php go back far enough to run an upgrade for this upgrade we want to do.

Any suggestions very much appreciated.

She will renew her members area since there is a good sell on right now.

Our upgrade script will upgrade 482 to 6.0 sure it goes all the way back to the beginning of the PHP script days.

Remember you need to upgrade the forum and photopost and things to note and watch out for. You need to change your integration type to vb3 from vb2 in the settings table of photopost and change any table prefix for vbulletin anything that changes you need to pay attention to. You also need to enter your vb license number in the config-inc.php file on the $vblicense line but most all this is in the upgrade.txt in the documentations folder of the download.

Thanks Chuck for the Information. Will see what can do with it.

Can she keep the older version of VBB 2 for now and will PP work with this older version.
Getting PP upgraded is biggest concern right now if possible.
