The menubar with the links
Home * Search * Member List etc..
is appearing just fine in IE7 but not at all in Firefox 22.214.171.124
Could some of you please look at this site http://test.thebeachcats.com/classifieds/index.php
and let me know if you see the same thing? The really strange part is that the page source is the same on both, I can't tell any reason from the html on the source why that line shouldn't display.
The site is still being developed so I've got the test subdomain password protected. You can use
username = invited
password = member
to access the domain.
No need for that now that I've wrapped the header div in a table. I'm on to the other dozens of details to get right before finally going live.
It's really no fun at all to deal with this "unique" template system. I'm finding things in both php and tmpl files that need to be changed for layout, but I understand that all of these are core files and subject to change in any new version. Am I right that there is no way to override templates, say have a /local version of a template that won't be overwritten later?
You can move the templates to a directory other than template and then change the template variable in the config-inc.php file (like, say, local).
// All of the .tmpl files are placed into a directory called "templates"; if you wish to change the
// name of the directory to something else to protect your files, you may do so and indicate the name
// of the directory here - this is not a path to the directory, just the directory name; the directory
// cannot be moved from the PhotoPost main directory.
$TMPL_PATH = "templates";
Please do not PM me for support or sales questions. Thank you for your understanding.
