Server Load and Resource question

I have a website with VB and am looking at getting photopost to integrate with it. Currently I was running coppermine since it was free, but my host has told me I am overloading the server with it and I had to turn it off or be suspended. How intensive is photopost on server resources? If I am running vb and photopost will I need a dedicated or virtual dedicated server?

This all depends on your application how many categories how many photos and how many users viewing the site.

It is a very subjective question and all this comes down to the server your using. You always need a server to match to the resources your site uses.
