Question User Numbers Problem

Ok, I know this is not really a pp-classifieds problem, but I'm hoping that someone here has run into the same issue and can suggest the best course of action.

I was running Threads 6.5 with PP-Classifieds (2.4 I think). Ok, so I upgraded my Threads to Threads 7, imported all my user info to the new version, then upgraded pp-classifieds 2.6Beta (cuz it integrates with Threads 7). Well, one big problem. All my ads now say the wrong person is selling stuff. It seems that when doing the import to Threads 7, all the original user IDs do not get retained. For example, if I had users 2,3,7,8, (4,5 and 6 had been deleted), I now have 2,3,4,5... in Threads 7. But in PP-Classifieds, if it says member 7 is selling something, that user number is for a completely different person. So, has anyone else ran into this issue and know the best way to resolve it?

Thanks,
Basil

Chuck, I found userfix.php but it seems to be just for Photopost, not PP Classifieds? I found a thread which seems to indicate that there is a sseparate script called classfix for fixing the userids in Classifieds, but doing a search I can't locate that file. What is the file I should use to update PP Classifieds? (and where is it )

Thanks Chuck. The text in that post says "when you import your forum into Vbulletin from another forum software" but I'm using Threads 7. Should this script still work?

Thanks a million,
Basil

It should work with any forum integration. VB was the only import script we knew at the time to change usernumbers but as you see Threads upgrades does this too.
