Is it possible to integrate PhotoPost with existing MySQL database?

Just wondering, would it be possible to integrate PhotoPost with existing MySQL database, for users authentification? Our database already contains usernames and passwords, so to avoid users double logging in / out, it would be nice just to specify for PhotoPost that usernames and passwords are stored there, and should be fetched from there.

So, is it possible?

You would need to create a module for that. The integrations we support are here
