is vBGallery for me?

looking at getting vBGallery...
however, im looking to see if there is a demo, or feature comparison somewhere

i have a vB site, and im looking for a simple place for members to store photos. i would like to be able to assign quotas on a group basis. i can't think of any other major things i need to do.

i am assuming vbgallery is the right product, but cant seem to fine a demo, or feature list...

VBgalery does support all the usergroups you have setup in VB. Regular members can upload 10 megs while premium can upload 25 megs. The gallery is integrated into the admin CP and uses your forum style.

Here is a quick and dirty low down.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
* The term "unlimited" denotes that the only limitions are those of PHP, MySQL, or your web server and not of the vBadvanced product.
** There is an option to allow as many upload input boxes as you wish. The actual number of files that may be uploaded at once will depend on your server configuration and the size of the file(s) being uploaded.

Requirements
vBulletin 3.0.0 or higher.
PHP 4.1.2 or higher.
MySQL 3.23 or higher is recommended.
GD library (2.0+ is recommended) or ImageMagick.

Im trying to figure out if this is for me as well. Does this stand alone as its own gallery or is it integrated into my current vb installation? If so how is that going to effect the way my board runs now?

vBGallery - must have vBulletin 3.0x / 3.5x as a backend to run.

DEMO w/ VB3.5
@mysite

There are hacks to add content to the forums also.
- Forums:
- Portal blocks (image gallery blocks) - Mid page

both of those options look good, im just wanting to make sure my forums remain a forum and not turn into 1 big photo gallery. the first link looks more like what I want but I do like the image gallery block on the side in the second link. dont get me wrong, photos are obviously important to me or I wouldnt be here. I run a fishing website and what im wanting to do is give my members an area to post there trophy catches etc.

I hear ya.

The gallery on default install does not have the Forumhome hack or the Portal block. These were requested by people that wanted to show off their images in other parts of the site to generate traffic to the gallery.

They are add-ons.

Vbgallery (and photopost) can do this.
