can i upload .gif pics with GD2?

Hi. My website is using GD 2.x that some galleries cann't upload .gif pictures.

Is vBadvanced Gallery has some problem with this?

If the GD you have installed supports GIF, then it will be able to process them.

Well, when I try to upload my .gif, I get a blank screen. Is this a symptom of the 'No GIF support in GD2' problem?

Sounds like it, but generally it should print out an error telling you that it cannot resize that type of file. If you'd like to submit a support ticket then I'll be glad to have a look and make sure that is in fact the problem.
