Some words about pp

I use this script a long time now; the same way i love it the same i hate it.
The templates are very uncomfortable, i still got problems with the mogrify command (i have to set it inside the scripts, then it runs), but most i hate the way it saves pictures. If i have an id the easiest way is to save the file as id.jpg or id.gif. For my comfort i save the pics as userid-id.extension.

Why this isnīt a build-in function? Every day a stupid user comes along and saves a file with a wonderful name like "the_picture_from_my grandmas_birthday_made_in_livingroom.JPG"

Nobody needs that!

So with every update i have a lot of work to do; unnecessary and always a reason to look for other scripts ...

Thanks for your comments and concerns.

For the most part why would we rename a picture to a name other than what the user has give it? Take note we have many customers and we try and satisfy the mass as a whole.

If a picture with the same name exists we change the picture name by appending a numeral to it
