Question Is this possible with a .htaccess file?

Would it be possible to config an .htaccess file to not block images with the "-thumb.jpg" filename ending, but block any other image files from my site/data directory?

So that people could hotlink thumbnails, but not the medium or full sized images?

If anybody can help me out on this question or if they know of other ways to accomplish this, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!
